Hi Folks, I've been advertising this as my recipe but truth in advertising requires me to fess up. This is my Aunt Gloria's Bread Pudding recipe. Easy to make and wonderfully tasty. I serve after pouring a little milk over the pudding, although vanilla ice cream makes a fun twist. Hope you'll enjoy :) Aunt Gloria's Authentic New England Bread Pudding 2 cups dry bread, diced 4 eggs beaten 4 cups milk 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 4 tablesp. melted butter 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp. vanilla * Combine bread with milk for 5 minutes. * Add sugar, eggs, butter, salt, spices, vanilla, and raisins. * Mix well. * Pour into buttered baking dish. * Set in pan of warm water and bake for one hour at 325 degrees.
